OUR PRODUCTS
Since 1969, Shoreline has been a manufacturer of threaded fasteners for a variety of specialized industries. These include threaded rods, U bolts, and related suspension hardware. We produce threaded rods and studs to industry standards or your specifications. Common double end threaded studs are always in stock, but we also manufacture all threaded studs and bars to order. U bolts in bulk or kits are also produced to order.
Supplemental suspension hardware is also kept in stock for your convenience. Whether you are looking for Hendrickson Cross Tubes or 1-1/4" Mack U bolts, they are in stock. We also have a large variety of nuts, washers, cap screws and OEM replacement hardware in order to be your one call for JIT stocking purposes. Ask about our free freight program in order to add decreased costs to your improved lead times.
U-BOLTS
Pre-bent U bolts can make your life a little easier. Every U bolt Shoreline makes is bent to order, whether from stock threaded rods or from scratch. U bolts are available bulk or in trailer kits with nuts and washers. We have the expertise and the machinery to bend standards and specials in a production setting.
Common industry bends include round, semi-round, square and Mack round. We have also made some quite uncommon bends over the years. We can bend rods as small as 3/16" diameter to ones as large as 1-1/2" round. We also stock standard forged top U bolts for suspensions such as Neway and Fruehauf. The recommended minimum radius for bending our stock rods listed by diameter:
3/8" to 1/2" diameter - at least 1/4" radius
9/16" to 5/8" diameter - at least 3/8" radius
3/4" to 1" diameter - at least 1/2" radius
1-1/8" to 1-1/4" diameter - at least 5/8" radius
